Most visitors associate Las Vegas with "The Strip" - glamorous hotels, casinos, gambling...


Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Valley of Fire are a 40 min drive to the southeast,  Mount Charleston is a 40 min to the northwest,  Red Rock Canyon is 20 min to the west.

About a 2
½ hour drive from Las Vegas is Death Valley National Monument.  Contrary to it's name, Death Valley is very much alive!  Many springs provide water for man and animals.

The Grand Canyon is about a 4 ½ hour drive from Las Vegas but there are also tours and sightseeing flights, including sunrise and sunset flights.
